<reviews itemIdentifier="Gmen1"><review><reviewbody>This is a sad tale of youth led astray. A group of poor, but honest kids are rounded up by agents of the police state on trumped up charges and interrogated by an FBI agent. The FBI lays out its insidious plan to turn them into spies against a enlightened group of concerned citizens working to improve society and our nations defenses. The FBI plan initially fail, but by introducing them to a group of youths who have already been turned, their leader, Billy, falls slowly into their grasps. The concerned citizens, a group whose symbol is a burning torch - an ancient symbol of truth and enlightenment, that lady liberty carries - have their actions thwarted again and again by the brainwashed youths and are finally crushed and taken away by the FBI. It's a chilling Kafkaesque drama.

I downloaded the 256Kb mpeg4's. There don't appear to be any missing parts to this serial. Each part is made up of episodes and pieces of episode. This and the fact that audio/video sync is off in all but the first two parts makes for very annoying viewing.</reviewbody>

<review><reviewbody>I found the first couple of episodes quite hard work but then, after the characters had been established, it suddenly became fun to watch, despite the regular audio sync problems.

Overall, I think it is well worth viewing, if only as a period piece.
